Unacceptable service

Capital Legacy is the appointed executor of my late husband's estate. He passed away on in August 2026, and I reached out to capital on 1st September 2026 to begin the estate process and was told the earliest appointment available with a consultant is 8 October — almost a month from now.

I am a widow with an 18-month-old child with limited income coming in. Nothing can move on the estate until that first appointment happens: no document collection, no Letters of Executorship, no access to any funds. A month of waiting just to open the file is not a reasonable starting point for a family that needs money for basic living expenses right now. What I am asking for is simple. Either bring the appointment forward, or assign someone this week who can start collecting the documents and lodging what needs to be lodged with the Master while I wait for the formal consultation. Please can someone from Capital Legacy contact me, and show some basic human compassion.
