Total waste if the estate is less than R250 000 - which they don't tell you when they sell you the policy.
I would give lower if I could. In 2020 I signed up for a will, and the salesperson convinced me that I should do one for my husband who was unemployed and had no income that we know of. I was told they would do a search etc. and be able to pick up if there were any policies that he did not know about. No mention of additional costs! So over the last three years i paid over R4000. When he passed, i had to beg for some help, three emails before I got a response - at a painful time. Then I was told that I must pay an additional R4000 to be able to finalise his estate etc. Absolutely shocking - before they could do a search!!! Which clearly I don't have as I have already paid that on a monthly basis

I am still disappointed that I felt like I was conned into getting a policy for my husband, however, they have been kind in offering to keep the door open should i come up with R4000 for them to wind up his estate that has no known assets, should I have the money available. At this point I still have my policy with them as it does sound potentially beneficial for my son should anything happen to me. I would refresh my rating to a three star if I could access it and amend.
