Leave choas in your wake

Capital Legacy has been administering my partner's ex's deceased estate for over 3 years now, going on 4. While they may give good service at the point of sale (i.e. getting you to agree for them to draft your will, which will always include appointing them as executors) once it comes time to actually do the work of administering and finalising the estate, they will drag their feet and not do anything unless threatened with legal action.

Their staff turnover in their estate management business is so high that you deal with a new consultant every 3 months, and it takes those 3 months for the new consultant to get up to speed with the estate, just in time for them to be replaced by the next new consultant. They hire people with very little experience and even less education in deceased estates which results in our current situation, which is estates being open for years and years.

On top of this, their delays and their incompetence WILL cost you money if there is any property that needs to be sold. Bond repayments won't be made, interest will accumulate, and you will sit with the bill for 4 years' worth of unpaid interest, all due to Capital Legacy not attending to things with any urgency.

Stay far away from Capital Legacy. Rather have a random stranger administer your estate, it will be quicker and cheaper. If you have any kind of assets to pass on, go anywhere else for help.

"Don't leave chaos in your wake"? All you will get with Capital Legacy is choas. Stay far away.
