Charged Interest exactly same amount as the capital amount.

requested a statement on my Finchoice account. My balance on this account/the capital amount was R 1 019.14 . I was charged interest from August 2020 till September 2022 an amount of R1 019.14 How on earth is this possible ? On previous correspondence it was confirmed that no interest will be charged . Please look into this as I am sure you have made a mistake . According to me I only owe you R319 after payments of R700 was made . Thank You
