You will regret buying a car at CAW Durban Branch!!

I bought a second hand car at their dealership in June and it was quick and easy to get it but then there were issues that im still dealing with now.

- The car's permit expired and i received a ticket for driving with an expired permit & I contacted them on numerous occassions to sort it out.

- The car didnt have a spare key so if anything would happen i would be in trouble.

- They put on a cheap tyre which was not of the same quality as the other 3 and when it burst i was told that it was my error and had nothing to do with them so i had to sort myself out

- I did not recive a service book

- They made me take out a maintenance plan even thogh the car has one as i was told that it didnt have one.

I have had to deal with 3 different dealer principles (2 of them quite while in the process of my complaint). I have had to speak to the owner of the company and now im dealing with the admin manager who is doing her best to assist me but all in all i have had the worst experience with CAW & Wesbank which financed the vehicle and really wish i could take it bac****

Do not be fooled by dealerships selling second hand cars, they will do anything for a sale and dont expect any form of customer service after the sale. Very disappointed and saddened that a car i have wanted for 4 years has been *****ed by a dealership with little sense of ethics and pride in their business.

Good Day Mbali,

CAW is surprised by your comment on Hellopeter as when one of the owners had received your complaint he handed your matter over to his PA.

The owners PA went the extra mile for you to make sure you get reimbursed as well as check your service history on your vehicle on his behalf, which was finalised.

Only thereafter have you brought the spare key and service book to her attention.

It was agreed that to speed up the process we would get quotes from the nearest dealers in your area and pay the monies over to you. In total CAW has reimbursed you over R8500.00 making sure you able to sort your vehicles tyre, key and service book.

No such enquiry would ever go unattended to, especially not by the owners. CAW is under new management and are greatly concerned about client s****s to meet standards of all our clients, as we value each and every one.

Kind Regards

Capital Auto World
