Disappointing treatment from CAPITAL AUTO WORLD

I had problems with our / my Peugeot 3008 ( bought from CAW) but had issues with the brake lights, the window washer bottle and aircon and the subsequent radiator leak & other minor issues, so they booked in the car for Monday 30 April 2018 which fell under the so called 7 DAY BACK WARRANTY.

As simple as it sounds or as it ishould have been, CAW could have just told us that since we had negotiated down on the price of the vehicle, CAW was no longer liable of the defects on the vehicle. Then we would not be in this situation

We emailed CAW highlighting the issues that were on the car that needed attention and CAW communicated that they would set an appointment for us since they had shortages of mechanics. They said all this when they knew that nothing was going to be done to the car because according to CAW we did not get the warranty that they offered and we had negotiated for a discount which was not even there .

There was absolutely nothing wrong in telling us that since we had negotiated the price and we did not take their warranty so the defects on the car became our responsibility. At least we would not have bothered CAW because we would have known it from the start. That way we could have avoided all this stress we now have.

So we brought the vehicle on the 30th of April as was agreed and CAW rep did not bother informing me/us that the vehicle was not going to be attended to when they obviously knew about it. My question is why?

CAW rep communicated with me /us via text message that the vehicle was ready for collection but the there were issues we needed to discuss. This gave me/us an impression that the vehicle had been attended to, only to get there on the 6th of May to find the vehicle in a worse of situation than we/I had left it:

1. The engine idling was erratic and not as smooth as it had been. 2. The dashboard display showing warning signs there were more problems on the vehicle 3. The electronic parking brake was no longer engaging

CAW could have just left the car in the state that it was or shouldn't have allowed me/us to leave it on the 30th of April because we/I had no warranty from CAW .That would have been fine because I/we would have promptly taken the car home.

How did the leaky radiator which was unattended depreciate to erratic idling and malfunctional electronic hand brake? Suprisingly the car including engine had been washed too Could this have exposed the delicate electronics in the engine bay to water?

Kindly and TRUTHFULLY inform me/us on the way forward so that I/we also know what steps to take because it is such an inconvenience to my family. This is so unfair. We worked hard to raise money to buy a car for cash from you. Why are you treating us this way? Please operate ethically and be truthful with to your clients.
