Capital Auto World service/ethics?

Capital Auto world advertised a 2016 Kia K2700 with 45 ****m on the clock for sale on Autotrader, Trovit and a number of other websites with 5 photos of vehicle. I contacted Dealership via Email link and was in turn contacted by a salesperson (Christine). They are based in Midrand and I am in KZN, vehicle was advertised as -

I told them that I am interested in vehicle etc and was sent a purchase application form which I completed and returned almost immediately and asked various questions about vehicle for my peace of mind, including a copy of AA/Dekra report which they said was included. I never received report but received a pro-forma invoice for the vehicle (18/09/2108 at about 10.15. I in the meantime arranged for a family member who live 30 minutes away to go and view vehicle and test drive vehicle on my behalf. When he arrived there and approx 11.00 yesterday he was told vehicle was already sold and so he left, this within half and hour of them sending me pro forma invoice. When I contacted sales lady in afternoon she wasn't aware of it being sold, and came back to me a short while later saying someone else had mentioned they were interested and was going to make a payment, (even though they hadn't seen vehicle) All documentation from Capital Auto World states vehicles are sold on first come basis as can be seen on above Ad.

I was then told to wait till this morning to see if Proof of payment came in from other interested party, when I contacted them this morning they had received nothing but said the person was coming in later during the day, should he not arrive they would contact me, but maybe I should look at another vehicle. This to me is not a first come basis! On contacting the manager Navi about the situation, I was told that the vehicle in photos on adverts was not the vehicle in question, but another vehicle in a much better condition and the vehicle I was inquiring about in the workshop having failed the AA test. Nothing was mentioned prior to this discussion with manager, even though they knew I was not in position to view vehicle, and even sent me the pro-forma invoice and were willing to receive payment knowing the vehicle displayed in advert was incorrect. This was only mentioned when I mentioned that I would pay a holding deposit subject to having my representative view, photo and drive the vehicle on my behalf. When I asked why vehicle was being "kept" for someone who if may or may not arrive contrary to there policy I was given a long story and lots of excuses, but it was still available if I made full payment there and then. I asked if vehicle could be taken to my representative so he could inspect and drive it on my behalf, since they had sent him away yesterday telling him it was sold when the came to there premises for that reason, I was told they won't do that, he must come back again!

I got the feeling I was asking to many questions and being fed BS to encourage me to walk away. In these trying times one thinks people would only be to happy to sell a vehicle, apparently not so. So if you wanting an ethical dealership willing to go the extra mile, definitely don't go to Capital Auto World. Another point - On there Pro-forma invoice they state vehicle is sold with 'This vehicle is sold with No-duty to repair' condition. Legally opinion received.........."No, it's not applicable when buying a vehicle from a dealer. Doesn't matter where the dealer got the vehicle from. The CPA is applicable" Be cautious!
