Bad Service - *********** personnel

I bought quite a few vehicles in my lifetime but this was the worst experience by far. I will advise anybody who is thinking of buying a vehicle to avoid Capital Auto World in Midrand. Let me share my experience with you.

I was interested in a Ford Ranger and made an arrangement to view the vehicle. I advised the sales person that I will arrange my own finance. That seemed to upset the sales team who became less helpful. My finance were approved immediately after one phone call to the bank while still at the garage. When phoning numerously the Friday to find out when the bakkie will be ready, I was told it would be ready the Monday at 12:00.

On Monday I was told that another person who viewed the bakkie the Saturday's loan was approved and the sale was cancelled.

This was a horrible experience - after phoning some senior people a Mr. Amid phoned - very apologetic and that the bakkie was available again. Off course I was not interested. If this is how they handle a NEW SALE - what will the after service be like.

Avoid this company!!!!!

 Good afternoon Mr. Bennie, we apologize for the inconvenience caused, however, it is difficult to hold a vehicle if there is no deposit or finance through our division to secure the vehicle. 
We do apologize for not sending you an email, but the salesman did mention that there is lots of interest on the vehicle.  With outside finance and no deposit, you do stand a chance of losing the vehicle with the current demand on it. 
However, upon you getting upset it was taken to our sales manager and he stopped the deal with the previous customer by convincing him to purchase another vehicle, buy giving discount or make it up to him in the future for him to happily let the vehicle go for you to purchase the vehicle. 
Due to the sensitivity of the matter the other client did his finance through us, he received the interest rate he desired and the vehicle within 3 days, as finance through our 4 major banks is normally 25% less time then finance outside of our premises. 
Upon calling you and selling you the vehicle  you then decided you are too upset with us and you no longer wish to proceed even though we managed to give you the vehicle in hand without any deposit or sent us secure finance. 
From the beginning we always stipulate that outside finance always delays the process because there is a lot more to confirm due to the higher risk factor, but once again we do apologize for the inconvenience.
