Alarm alert
We bought a car more than 3 months ago and after a few days we've asked for the original key to lock and unlock the car's immobilizer.. They've sent someone els with a key to install the key but those people damaged the computer box and couldn't start.. They came to pick up the car with a tow truck because all of the sudden that spare key didn't work.. So the vehicle were standing at Renault Midrand for more than 3 weeks before Capital Auto decided to pay Renault's quotation.. So overall we waited for more than 2 months just so that Renault can fix the car.. Meanwhile there were several other issues with the car which they said that they will only fix once Renault has installed the box and the key. One of them was the car is making a big noise when you reverse and you're turning the steering wheel fat to the left and far to the right.. So after 2 and a half months of waiting for the car they delivered it to us finally, just to find out that they haven't fixed those other problems on the car which they've promised us.. I also found out that the roadworthy expired before the car was sold and that had to re-do it and still waiting for papers after 3 months.. a Few staff members that I delt with during this period resigned as well because they said that they can't work in that environment and that Capital auto midrand.. Be very careful buying cars from them. They make empty promises and lying to clients is what they do best..
