CAPITA SA STOLE MONEY FROM AN EMPLOYEE

After being diagnosed with Covid 19, I had to isolate as per the regulation requires. Upon completion of my isolation I had to claim for the COVIDTERS releaf fund.

The company assisted me with the process, and had to complete the process by myself eventually.

It now appears that the company assisted me in this process in order to take advantage of the entire process and ***** the monies I was meant to receive from UIF COVIDTERS Fund.

I have recently contacted UIF and the manager told me that the money was deposited a while ago. I submitted the application on the 18/Dec/2020.

They have also deducted an amount in the excess of R3000+ in total for both December and January as they had claimed they paid me sick leave which they have not.

Because I am not longer with the company, they have been ignoring me no matter the means of communication. I have tried calling, and emailing Payroll and HR and it seems that they know exactly what they have done.

This is the same HR team that was very receptive when I was filling this application.

I am basically stuck and I am now looking at legal action.

I am also not the only one in this company experiencing this.
