Unauthorized Debit Order Date

I received an SMS today saying my debit order didn't go through and I am extremely F U R I O U S ! ! During the sign up process the consultant confirmed a debit date of the 25th of each month to which I brought to her attention I was unhappy about since my salary date as per salary advise was the last day of every month. She assured me that her team leader looked at the salary advice and that the team leader would manually amend the contract to reflect debit date as the last day of the month. Lo and behold, not to my surprise I was debited before.

I want the initial sales call to be listened to and for a team leader to E M A I L me only since your recorded calls clearly hold no water, I want it in writing only as to why a simple instruction cannot be followed ! ! !

If this not done I will be forced to write a letter of complaint to the National Credit Regulator to look into the matter and also why Capfin debits accounts the last working day if the date falls on a weekend. This doesn't make any sense to debit before a payment date. You are messing with people's credit records. I noticed similar other customers complaints on this platform too which is P A T H E T I C to say the least. Know that I will not stand for this **** every month. You are not the only financial institution in the country that provides this service.

I await your written feedback so this matter can be escalated to the NCR if not resolved.

I will N O T update the debit order date telephonically as the correct payment date should've been loaded already as per recorded convo when the contract was finalised.
You have the recorded convo so get a manager to action it.
I will N O T make payment until you resolve this matter.

IT'S BEEN ALMOST 2 WEEKS AND STILL NO EMAIL RESPONSE IS FORTHCOMING FROM YOU. I HAVE BEEN PATIENT UNTIL NOW HOWEVER THE NCR NEEDS TO GET INVOLVED SINCE YOU ARE UNWILLING TO RESOLVE THE MATTER FROM YOUR SIDE. YOU SHOULD REALIZE THAT YOU ARE IN BREACH OF CONTRACT. BY THE WAY, IT DOESN'T TAKE 2 WEEKS TO LISTEN TO THE SALES CALL AND PROVIDE WRITTEN FEEDBACK.

My fellow South African's, this platform serves to inform you on which companies you should take the time to do business with. CAPFIN is a trashy company to deal with based on my own experience as they are unable to action a debit order on the date as contractually agreed upon. You have been warned. There are far better companies out there who will not force bad service to make it's way to you, just look at all the complaints! And unresolved might I add.
