The Capfin Loan Company is a complete waste of time, they are ********* and and falsely advertise their services in stores

My experience in making the biggest mistake applying for a "pay day" or short term loan with Capfin loans has been a complete waste of my time. They become so frustrating to deal with, as whatever they advertise is the complete opposite when you actually deal with them directly. They are ********* and dissapointing, instead of "helping people" they actually put you in a much worse position mentally when you are done dealing with the *********** staff. The service is revolting! I app**** for this payday loan at the PEP store at the Hyper Rama shopping centre on 14th Avenue Constantia Johannesburg on Saturday the 26th Nov 2016. At the time I was in the store I took a pamphlet for Capfin Loans and the information advertised was that you can apply for the loan at the store to fast track the application process, it stipulated what was required, and also showed you the payment plan, interest rate terms etc. no where on the advertisment did it stipulate that the pay day loan option of the one month payback was promotional and only valid until the 9th Novemeber 2017. so I had all my documents in order as per the requirements and sent everything in, i was then notified that I would be contacted within an hour by a Capfin consultant to process the application. this was around 3.00pm. I waited and after the hour passed I decided to call the number on the pamphlet, i got through to an IVR message confirming their working hours and self service options. I then called the PEP store where I app**** to get more information around why i was not told when I asked that they were closed, and why incorrect information about the time they would get back to me was given to me when i was at the store, the response I recieved from one of the employees at PEP was I dont know... we dont know their working times.... whats new? i then kept recieving sms's from Capfin confirming that they were busy with my app, then i recieved another message saying that it was provisionally approved, and someone would be in contact soon, thereafter another sms came through stating that my income had been verified after that the last sms said that my loan was being processed and i would be contacted upon completion. only on Monday morning the 28th Novemeber do I recieve a call from a consultant at Capfin telling me that I qualify for 12000 but over a minimum term of 12 months, when I asked about the pay day loan option i was then advised that this is no longer an offer from them and that the promotion ended, so then i queried why the information being advertised at the store had given me a different perception based on the information on it, and I was then told that they have not updated their advertising in the stores, so how unprofessional is that? i then called them after 2 hours as I was not in a position to speak to them at the time they called me, and when I called them back after they had confirmed to call me back at 9.00am and never did, the lady who took my call then told me i qualified for 8000 and she gave me 2 payment periods, 6 and 12 months, but the first lady advised me that I could only pay 12 months as the minimum term, so theres inconsistency as well. after I said to the very rude lady who i didnt bother getting details for, that I would take 5000 over 6 months, she then gave me the repayment amount, and i thought it was finalized, but then I got a surprise when at that stage I needed to confirm income and expenditure after my income had already been verified on Saturday as I have the sms to prove this, she went through my obligations on ITC, not giving me the oppotunity to explain that due to standard bank my employer having system issues and paying their staff on the 21st debit orders had been processed and our accounts had been affected, they told us that this would be rectified but then I had 4 accounts that updated incorrectly as overdue, which I have obtained letters for confirming that my accounts are actually up to date and there are no overdue balances, I also advised them of the rental income that I recieve each month which cancels out my bond instalment so that should not count as an expense as the lease agreement i have in place along with the deposits going into my account for the bond would be able to validate this, I also advised that I have 2 vehicles financed on my name but one of them gets paid from my dad's account, and has been for the last year consistently I was able to provide them with a letter from him confirming that as well as his bank statements for reference, I was then told, no they cant use it and that my application was declined based on my installment on the bureau which supersedes the net income amount, so in actual fact, they are not even willing to motivate fot an approval, based on the NCR this is allowed but they expect people to give them a chance and apply for a loan to assist when in financial distress? this is a load of ****! if you ask me they should not even be allowed to operate any longer, they still advertise live, old and invalid information about their company, when you speak to them on the phone, they are unprofessional, rude, no work ethic, they are an embarressment to the financial sector in this country! They create the incorrect perception for applicants making them believe that they are getting the loan, and then at the last minute they decline you! this is my first point of complaining, I will be going to the press next times media will be hearing from my as I request for them to put an article in the newspaper regarding CAPTIN, the reputational risk that this company is going to have to deal with due to their *********, unprofessional disgusting service will go viral!
