********** and *******

I app**** for a loan with Capfin in October 2017. January 2018 I asked for a settlement figure and paid the money across. A day later I followed up to see if they received the money. They told me to follow up the next day. The next day they contacted me asking if I made a deposit and confirmed everything I specified as the reference number on my payment. I agreed and said that that was indeed my payment. They requested a proof of payment doc to be send through which I did that same afternoon. The next day I followed up and was told my proof of payment was not acceptable. I contacted the bank and got them to send through another proof of payment. This was again sent through to Capfin and again I was told this was not an accepted proof of payment even though this was directly from the bank itself. I have now subsequently had another instalment deduction for my paid up account and every time I follow up, I get a different story. I would not recommend ANYONE to EVER use Capfin no matter what. It is now going on 2 weeks for them to just allocate my already paid funds and clear my account. BUNCH OF **********!!!

So Capfin called me today with regards to my HelloPeter complaint. Apparently the Finance Manager is now aware of everything, but I still need to wait for my payment to be allocated as well as my debit order to be refunded. They first need to investigate the matter. What exactly do they need to investigate??? My money has been in their bank account for 2 weeks now. They have 3 references reflecting on their bank statement confirming its my money. They called me when they received the money & I confirmed that it was in fact me settling my account. They already received 2 proof of payments from the bank themselves... WHAT MORE DO THEY NEED??!! Even if you threaten them with lawyers, opening a case of ***** & theft at the police station, complaining on HelloPeter or going to the Ombudsman - they just don't care and draws interest on my money in their bank account. I have in fact contacted my lawyer this morning, but unfortunately he was out of the office, but Capfin will be liable for all the lawyer fees as well as the interest I am charging them from the 25th of January 2018 when they took another debit order after I settled my account. Terrible to think it takes them 2 weeks (and counting) to allocate a payment!!

More than 3 weeks and still no full & final settlement paid allocated to my account. I am now being harassed on a daily basis for my account being in arrears due to reversing the debit order that was taken after I settled the account. Clearly these ********** are not really cared about HelloPeter either, so my next step will be Noseweek. Please do not make use of these ********** EVER!!!!
