Capfin, using bully tactics and threatening messages
I recently had an issue and called Capfin to advise them that I was unable to pay an installment and would make an arrangement to do so. (first time) I was told there's nothing they can do to help me. So the installment didn't go off. I called in and made an arrangement to pay the outstanding by end July. I went online to my account profile and made the same arrangement. SMS received to confirm my arrangement on the 27th June .
Today (8/7/19) I received an sms stating I will be handed over and blacklisted and I should call the number *** -I called the number and spoke to Andrea in the collections call center who would not give me her surname because she doesn't have one.
I asked her to remove my bank details as I do not have that account anymore and she told me she is unable to view my account cos its blocked and she cant do anything or change anything. So they will continuing debiting an account that i longer use.
She told me the "arrangement" is fine but they can still hand me over and blacklist me cos I'm in arrears by one month. Apparently an arrangement doesn't mean anything.
As far as I'm aware thats ******* and Capfin is using bully tactics and threatening to blacklist and handover even if you have a payment arrangement in place and its a future date.
