Application declined but money deducted!!

Hi there , so I did an online application by CAPFIN RUSTENBURG via Sanlam , to only see if I do qualify for a loan after hearing all good news on social media, to my surprise this turns out to be a money scheme , how can you deduct a R250 from my account just by doing an enquiry , the only way to go through with the application was to accept a debit cheque . This is daylight ******* to my knowledge . The reception covers up the story very well and threatens me with legal action should i take this another route for questioning me my money back . I was not approved for the LOAN at all, its a click of a button by the system and no paperwork that you print out because its done online . When ever was i sent any document to sign to email back i wonder , u just gained my money for clicking buttons.
