Terrible manager at Canal Walk Cape Union Mart

This is regarding the Cape Union Mart at Canal Walk. I bought a KWay jacket and within a week noticed a small hole which resulted in feathers coming out. I had only worn the jacket once in the week I had it. Of course we went to return (again only had the jacket for 1 week) the item at the Canal Walk Cape Union Mart. Having phoned beforehand to ask if it was okay (they said it was), I thought we would have no problems. We also had the receipt. However we were met with terrible service. There was a manager who proceeded to imply that I was at fault and lying about not breaking the jacket. He would not relent about this point and when my father took offense that he called his daughter a ****, he told my father to not get emotional. He also stated that other people have **** about jackets before however, one should not apply such judgement all the customers. The manager also said that he knew if he had broken a jacket he would lie to get a refund - very *********. I was raised to be honest and to hear that my honesty was being questioned was quite insulting. The manager over stepped his boundaries as one should not imply your customer is a **** but believe they are truthful especially when I've have only worn the jacket once and had it for a week. It was in warranty and should not have been questioned like I was committing a crime. It is also insulting in that the manager applies his belief to all the customers in that if they are returning something he assumes they have broken the item and trying to cheat the system. Very disappointed in Cape Union Mart as this is not the behavior I expect from them.
