Salomon shoes not suitable as advertised.

My bad experience is not as much with Cape Union Mart but with a product they sell and which I've only bought from them so feel like they have a responsibility to address. I have however emailed the supplier but have no reply from then yet. Salomon shoes is being advertised by Cape Union Mart as outdoors shoes for running and hiking and the product description states it has extra grip. Now too my disappointment I have purchased 3 pairs of this particular shoe as it was one of the most comfortable shoes I've fitted and was really excited about it, to my surprise 3 days in on a moist not wet pving, nothing as bad as what you would experience hiking outdoors, I slipped and fell injuring my knee, I rubbed it off as clumsy me but after my second fall hurting my shoulder grabbing to keep myself from hitting the ground I realized that these shoes are not as advertised. I've started asking around and have not came across someone who defended the grip of these shoes and came across many stories of people slipping and falling on surfaces whilst wearing Salomon shoes where a pair of PEP shoes won't even slip. My next fall might just have to end up with a visit to my attorney to maybe save serious injury to someone else. Merill are as advertised and will be my preferred shoe from now on.
