Refusal to repair tent

So I bought this tent about a year and a half ago and I was promised a lifetime guarantee on it. Within a very short period of using the tent it became faulty and zips broke when I took it back the store said that they cannot repair it because they suspect negligence. I’m very disappointed by this because the store failed to fulfill their promises.
