Pathetic service at the store and head office in Cape town
I returned some goods at Cape union mart Hemmingways on the 14th August 2017 of the goods i bought in their Vincent branch on the 12th August 2017. The assistant manager told me that they do not have enough cash at the store i should come back later. I asked if they can maybe do an EFT, the Ass manager said he doesn't know how to do it. I then left my details and told them to give me a call when they have accumulated enough cash so that i can come and collect. I was not contacted, then on the 16th I went to the store, the assistant manager told me the same story that they still don't have money yet, I asked them if they have not made any sale since Monday, his response was that they don't keep the money instore(remember i told them to give me call as soon as they make enough). I told them that i am not leaving until they do something. He went to the back and came back said he is doing the EFT i should give him my banking details, which i did. A week later I have not heard or received my money i decided to call the head office and was told that the lady who deals with the matter is off i should call the following day. I then decided to post on their Facebook that was on the 22 August 2017. A Leeroy guy contacted me and wanted proof of purchase of which i left at the store, he told me that the store misplaced it. He promised that they will contact me back of which they didn't. I kept on phoning them and speaking to different people, on Friday 25 August the Head office told me that the store is sorting it out i should contact them. I went to the store on Saturday 26th August and spoke to the Manager Janine who told me that the head office said they have done the payment yet the head office told me that i must go to the store. Today it is the 28th August and i am still being sent from pillar to post.
