Pathetic Customer Service
<p>Bought a pair of Speed cross shoes from the Grove Branch. Was told these shoes carry a lifelong guarantee. Sole are tearing lose. Took them back, and was told it would take up to six weeks for repairs. (Apparently the shoes needs to be sent to Cape Town to be glued?!). I clearly expressed my dissatisfaction with the branch manager (who informed me about the six week glue scenario) who simply showed no satisfactory reaction, in fact, he allowed a loyal unhappy client to leave his Shop.</p> <p>I have raised this issue with electronic communications towards Cape Union Mart Head office (08/08/2016), and till date (18/08/2016) received no response. Seems the Branch is simply following by example.</p>

Please accept our sincerest apologies for the experience you have had in the Grove store. This is certainly not the level of experience we would want any customer to have when dealing with our stores. As Salomon is an external brand it does need to be sent away to our supplier to assess the damage. Once they have made their assessment the store will then be able to advise on the best way to assist. The store will be able to assist you in having the repair process sped up to assist with your query. We will follow up with the store and assist them your repair.
