I went to Cape Union Mart in Brooklyn, Pretoria, where I have been shopping for some 25 years. I wanted to purchase some sandals and could find no one to serve me. A gentleman, who turned out to be the store manager was assisting another customer. Eventually a lady served me and left. I required a different size and waited for an assistant. Meanwhile the store manager who observed me just left me to wait for about 10 minutes. I eventually called out foe some assistance after which I was assisted. on my way to the check out tills I announced to the manager that I found the service atrocious. I waited to be served at the tills as well. I asked for the stores contact details and was informed that I could find them online and there was no telephone number. Once again I complained to the store manager and he informed me that he had apologised to me. I would have expected a slightly more proactive remark , to the effect that he would address the issue. 10 out of 10 for bad attitude all round.
