Nearly ********** By Cape Union Mart - Constantia

My son bought me a gift (Old Khaki- white shirt), from the Old Khaki -Store in Blue Route Mall for my birthday on 4 Jan 2019. Unfortunately the size was incorrect and I thought that since I live in Constantia I should return it to Cape Union Mart at the Constantia Mall. The lady that assisted was very good but she could not find my size, she called the "manager", Lameeze who was not very friendly and suggested that I take a gift voucher which I could exchange at another store. This is were the trouble started, she printed out a gift voucher for R299.00, told me that the shirt hasd been bought at this discounted price, despite the fact that there was not any shirt at this store for this prize. What alerted me was the fact that she was very keen to take the shirt back, (problably to resell at R450.00? She said that the shirt apparently "scanned" at R299.00? I did not know how much the shirt had cost my son at this time, however, when I got home, my son was horrified, he promply produced the cash receipt for R450.00 (which he had paid at Old Khaki -Blue route). I rushed back to Constantia and demanded my shirt back in exchange for the gift voucher, Lameeze relunctantly did this and returned to Blue Route Mall, where they confirmed that the shirt sold for R450.00, but they too did not have my size, (Large). They then checked with your other stores and found that both Constantia and Cavendish had a size large, naturally, I was and still am reluntant to go back to the Constantia store? I got the shirt swopped at Cavendish but I am agrieved, that I was nearly **********, my son was compromised, i had received bad service and I was inconvenienced to drive to three stores (unneccesarily)!
