K-Way Down Jacket Unrepairable - forcing you to buy a new one at 25% less. Ridiculous.

I bought a few K-Way Down Jackets about 3 years ago for myself, my wife and my children on the premise that if the jackets had been torn, it will be fixed free of charge. The "warranty" on this product, which of course I was mis-led on, makes these jackets and brand such a tasteful purchase. We as a family also travel often to Europe for Skiing holidays and therefor we also own K-Way 3-in-1 jackets. My disappointment when I took 1 of the Down Jackets to the store as it was torn on the arm, to be told to pay R250 (store manager not advising what this is for), happily paid the R250 and was told it can take up to 6 - 8 weeks for it to be repaired. After receiving a call from the store that the jackets has been returned, going to the store, packet opened, noticed that nothing had been repaired, to be told that they cannot match the fabric so they will offer met 25% discount on a new jacket. Where is the warranty on this jacket now??? 25% on R1500, after already paying R250 which i was told afterwards was a courier fee and not getting any benefit of purchasing K-Way. For the price of a K-way Jacket, i can go to a cheaper brand not getting any warranties. In my world this is ****************, taking R250 of you and you get nothing back and then still try and sell you a R1500 jacket.

I am sorry, but i will never purchase anything from Cape Union Mart again, don't care what the promises is they make. The store is East Rand Mall. The store manager, really unhelpful as well tried and convinced me the R250 is no refundable. I could off taken R250 and threw it in the dustbin.
