jacket repair

I purchased a shell 2 jacket from the above mentioned store under a year ago. The jacket was only used in this past winter and the signs started peeling off and jacket fraying new jacket looks like 10 years old in 3 months and I'm told its normal wear and tear. For the price I payed I've used Mr Price jackets way cheaper less than half the price and it lasted way longer. The jacket supposed to be under guarantee life long bull. I was told buy 1 manager that under 1 year old they should replace it . then I go to give it in and I'm told they going to repair it and 2 months now that I'm waiting for my jacket and it has not come yet . come on my car engine took a week to fix and I'm sure it's a much bigger task. Spoken to cape union mart manager at the gateway branch and on face book but no joy at all
