INTEX mattresses from Cape Union Mart

A few years back I bought an INTEX inflatable mattress from Cape Union Mart (Hyde Park). Recently it started leaking so I took it back to Hyde Park and asked if they could fix it, but they would only do so if I could produce the proof of purchase. Given that it was a while since I bought it I could not. They further explained that they actually wouldn't fix it themselves and would send it to the agent (M5 Sports), however they would not send it due to the absence of the POP, citing some weak excuse about systems and processes. I then tried to contact M5 (which is virtually impossible) and if you finally do you have to drive to them in Benoni and cannot make an appointment for them to check it when you drop it off. Neither party had any interest in trying to accommodate me and in the end stopped responding to emails and calls completely. So, if you are ever looking for either an inflatable mattress or for Cape Union to assist with damaged goods, rather go elsewhere. What a joke!
