Ill treatment of layby Customers

On Monday I had the pleasure of experiencing the most appalling service from the East Rand Mall branch. I walked in hoping to purchase two sneakers on sale, I realized I didn't enough money I had forgotten my wallet at home so I opted to layby because I had cash on hand. I spoke to Sibusiso( assistant branch manager )to enquire about the process, he then told me if I layby it will go back to normal price. Asked what nonsense is that? Never seen that on any consumer policy. With my disbelief I went to the Mall at Carnival because I really wanted the sneakers, got there just before they closed they assisted me with no stories and attitude.The problem is that I didn't find the colour I wanted on the one sneaker and didn't find the right size on the other of which ERM had at the time. Later in the week I went to ERM to ask them why they had **** to me? they told me this was the training they got said the Branch Manager. I was puzzled as to why all the branches and sister companies of Cape Union mart would be different to them? Or was it that I was laybying and they wanted to push sales?? Are Layby customers ill treated compared to cash buyers?? Can head office clarify whats going on here...can head office help me get what I wanted? Size and Colour??
