Fast delivery option chosen and paid for but not followed through by Cape Union Mart

I placed an order on the 19th January and chose the expedited delivery option which is 2-3 working days.m as I needed the order by Friday the 22nd for the latest. I then called customer services On the 22nd January hoping it would be delivered on the same day. The agent I spoke to confirmed that my order will be delivered the 22nd January because it falls within the 2-3 day delivery option I chose, this delivery option costs R95. Cape Union Mart only delivers during week days which means that my order will hopefully only delivered on Monday the 25th. I’ve sent emails as well as a private message to them on Instagram and told them hey I should be reimbursed for the deliver my fee I paid because taking into account the number of days that has past, it falls under the standard delivery period. I still haven’t received any response via email or Instagram. Cape Union Mart should not over promise and under deliver. The order I placed before this one was delivered quicker than this delivery which I paid R95 for. There are reasons why customers choose to pay an extra amount for faster deliveries and if the company cannot follow through with delivery times, a phone call or email would be the courteous thing to do, just to give the customer a heads up which I never received. Follow through on the processes that are put in place by your own company and do the right thing by making sure that client knows what the status is of their order, especially if there are delays or even if there stet possibilities of delays.
