Excellent Service

It completely slipped my mind to do this review.. On the 18th of Sep I returned to Cape Union Mart in Capegate to exchange a jacket for a larger size. I asked the attendant to check what other stores had the size I needed, as Capegate was sold out. She found a Jacket at the Paarl outlet (which was a bit far for me) and unfortunately due to covid regulations, they couldn't transfer the jacket between stores. The young lady went out of her way to try and arrange on my behalf.

Their system indicated Bayside outlet also had stock, and i said she can cancel with Paarl, I'll go to Bayside. A few minutes later, after I had left the store, I received a follow-up call from the lady that helped me. She had called to Bayside to confirm that they did indeed have the jacket displayed on the system, she also asked them to reserve the jacket for me. This was totally unexpected and greatly appreciated. In times like this, its great to know there are still employees that understand the importance of good service. My only regret is that I don't know the staff member's name.

Will make use of Cape Union Mart in Capegate again!
