Disappointed shopper

I frequent the Menlyn branch and was very disappointed in Sunday.

I popped in store with a shopping list for my dad.

Ended up grabbing three of the items and could really not get out of there soon enough due to the inconvenience and anxiety caused by the drone operator who kept the thing hovering over my head from my entry into the shop till I headed off to pay at the till.

I found this very invasive and intrusive. Did I look like a possible shoplifter??

I would like to suggest that instead of victimising customers perhaps their staff can focus on neatening up the shelves starting with the thermal wear shelve because it is a utter mess. Also the packaging of some of the items are so damaged it really should not be offered to clients.

I doubt that drones are a necessity judging by the fact that it took 3/4 of my time spent at the pay point to remove security tags from the items I bought.

As a business owner myself I would be concerned for the income they lost as I was the only customer in the store and I was prepared to spend three times the amount I spent but ended up buying the rest of the items on my list from Woolies instead.

I am sorry to say but I will definitely but unfortunately think twice before stepping into your store again and sincerely hope that they can avoid other customers feeling the same way.
