Cheap Products Sold at a Premium Price

I bought a pair of K-Way Hiking shoes from Cape Union Mart Tygervalley 3 months ago. In my mind these are supposed to be premium items because they are not cheap. Imagine my shock when after only 3 months of light park walking, the sole of the shoes completely separated, exposing the cheap quality of the shoes. I unfortunately lost the slip because let's face it, if you pay R1500 for a pair of shoes, you expect it to last more than 3 months. I emailed their customer support email yesterday and still no one has bothered to reach out to me. I see now that Cape Union Mart has a great marketing team who creates the impression of high quality items and service, in the mean time the products are cheaper than those bought at China Town with a huge mark up on them. Shame on this company. I will never buy from them again.
