CapeUnionMart

On 8 November 2022 I saw a adverti*****t online from CapeUnionMart for a powerstation Jackery Explorer 1000 for R6950.As this product usually sells for R20000 or more I tried to in several ways to confirm with them if this is true or someone trying to pull a **** .I contacted a branch in Secunda but their reply that they are not aware of this and not clued up with their online marketing buiseness .This also being done on 8 Nov 2022.I requested the manager to try and find out and revert back to me but no reply up to date.On the 8 November 2022 I also forward several emails regarding this query to their online Customer support centre(why do they even have Customer support)and even attached several screenshots of the adverti*****t with the different layouts of the buying platform ,but to no avail,no reply. They cant even confirm if this ad had been mistakenly put there or maybe a **** cause it looks like the real thing and seems to take you through all the legitimate pages. This make me wonder how safe it actually is to buy anything online for that matter.People should be very careful when buying online. When a price seems to be good to be true rather be very suspicious about it.According the National Consumer Act buisenesses should also take responsibility for their advertising, but how do you go about with a buiseness when they ignore you and dont even want to communicate?
