cape union Mart not using accredited repair centres

please be aware, if you buy a Kershaw knife and it falls apart( I did not abuse it- im not very active or outdoors etc), Cape Union mart will send it to a back yard repair shop instead of Kershaw (who actually does repairs- i checked)

Cape Union mart Knysna sent my knife in for repairs, it came back with small grinding marks, covered in metal shwarf and it no longer locks properly. I have payed the Kershaw prices but now have a hacked together knife.

i contacted Kershaw myself and they are not the ones who fixed it, so who did? not a big deal but i wouldve wanted to be warned so there it is...
