Cape union mart - never again

Went to cape union mart this afternoon, jackets on special for R599,00, went to the till to pay and all of the sudden the jackets price went up to R1299.00 do the one of the staff said that he won’t be able to give it to me for the advertised price but I can get it for R1000.00. As far as I know if a store or any other supplier puts a price tag on an item it gives the customer the right to only pay the advertised price. I’ve spent a lot of money this year supporting cape union mart, I bought 4 jackets and 2 pairs of shoes. I will never shop at any cape union mart ever again I’ll rather support trappers or any other outdoor store. Thank you very much cape union mart for leaving a very bad taste in my mouth.
