Cape Union Mart - false advertising

<p>The Cape Union Mart website is advertising Salomon Speedcross 3 shoes on sale. The website CLEARLY shows a back shoe with a big “Sale” sign next to it priced at R1399.</p> <p> </p> <p>I tried to buy the black shoe but the price jumps to R2299 when you add it to your cart.</p> <p> </p> <p>Turns out it’s only certain colour that’s on sale, and black is not 1 of them.</p> <p> </p> <p>I tried to resolve this with their live chat and phone their head office without any joy.</p> <p> </p> <p>This is false advertising. They should not be promoting a sale with an items that’s not on sale. If it was only certain colours, they should have used those colours in the add.</p>
