Buy one get one free items

Good day

I bought a pair of slides online at tread + Miller that were on a buy one get one free special but I only received one pair. I wrote a complaint online but I'm told that in order for me to get the second pair I have to buy another pair again, unfortunately the system does not select the second item. I'm not happy at all, I feel ******.
