Anything excuse not to refund!!

So Cape union Mart, you have found the most ridiculous way of taking a loyal customers money!!

I bought a solar power bank in December, went on holiday and left the power bank in the sun, obviously, as it's a solar power bank and needs the sun to charge.

Needless to say the rubber melted and the device was damaged after its first outing in the sun. I went to The Glen store, where I was comically refused a refund, as the device should not be in direct sunlight. Please advise why such pathetic products are being sold. The product is to use the sun to charge but yet it must be left out of the sun???? Pathetic. Please refund me ASAP!!! This complaint is a manufacturing and product battle, not with the customer.

I honestly regret spending money on so many products with you guys!!

On a side note, can I wear your jackets in the rain??? Seeing that a purpose of a product it's designed for should not be used under those conditions!!
