Waited over 30min for validated tickets and ended up paying ourselves

The first day went okay, no issues. The second day when we're supposed to get validated parking tickets they were nowhere to be found. Enquiries were made and we were told to wait. We asked how long and no one could give us answers. This was in the late afternoon and we all had places we needed to be including the airport. After waiting over 30min without any assistance we eventually paid our own parking even though we weren't supposed to. Enquiries about why the booms couldn't just be opened for us fell on deaf ears. Hire people that are capable of doing their jobs.
