Ignored due to race?

<p>Firstly, we are a mixed race couple. My husband is white and I am a now heavily pregnant and hormonal coloured woman who just wanted to have a nice breakfast before attending the gaming expo with my crazy gamer husband. We walk into the restaurant called "coffee on the square" and the hostess takes us to a table. All good. Then we wait... it's been more than 10minutes and the waiters just pass us without a glance or stand huddled by the counter blatantly ignoring us! Is it because we were a mixed race couple amongst only white visitors? My husband gets peeved and calls a waitress over to ASK for assistance and she wasn't very eager to assist. She sees to her other table and comes back after 5minutes to take our order.</p> <p>Meanwhile a white couple walk in, escorted by a hostess, and tailing right behind them is a waitress! They even received their coffee before we got ours!</p> <p>I am offended as we could see ourselves being ignored while others were receiving service with a smile. </p>
