Worse experience with Dockside 905 Cape Town Holiday Apartments

I am currently going through hell with Cape Town holiday apartments. Myself, wife and 7 month old baby relocated from the UAE to Cape Town on the 28th of October, when we got to Cape Town I started talking to Jacqui De Lille from Cape Town holiday apartments about a apartment that I would like to move into on the 1st of November which is Dockside 905, De waterkant, while we talking I asked them if the apartment will be cleaned and sensitized before I moved in, they promised me no need to worry everything will be spotless, they said I can move in at 10am on the 1st November. When I got to the apartment the place was a mess, the grey couches was smelling bad and it was black from dirt, dust everywhere, the shower and toilet was filthy, pots and pans in the kitchen has thick stains of old food on it, shower and toilet is dirty, bathroom cupboard door was hanging on the ground, in the bedroom next to the bed is live wire hanging (mind you I have a little baby that wants to crawl around and explore everything) ( it still hanging out they did not fix this) I called them Yolandi Jordaan-Stols told me “ ANYWAYS OUR CHECK IN TIME IS AT 3pm so you can take your family and go somewhere and we will sort it out” which I responded to with why did you send me a email that says I can move in at 10am...? My wife told me we have to leave this place, I told her we can’t we already paid and they will not refund our money. Besides the filthy unsanitary apartment, the internet is not working.. and this is something I am paying for.. I spoke to Shayne Bezuidenhout about this in the beginning of November he told me that they will sort it out I must just wait, until today I am still waiting for them to get back to me. Every time I make contact with them they tell me they busy sorting it out. THEY DO NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THERE ACTIONS THEY WILL ALWAYS BLAME SOMEONE ELSE. They are managing this apartments but clearly this job is to complicated for them to do.

Good day Timothy,

As per our telephone discussion 1 November when you moved in i would again like to provide my sincere apology on the dissatisfaction and service received.  This is not the kind of service i accept and serious steps will be taken against everyone involved.

I see you have extended for another month now.  I also see the day after your check in there where new items bought for you like pans, toaster etc. This is the 1st i hear of live wires so i will ensure that Theo attend to this 1st thing in the morning. The internet is not fibre but just normal ADSL.

We have app**** for fibre to be installed and connected.  We are following up with the suppliers every second day but all they say is that we need to wait.  We will escalate this matter now and try to get you better internet as soon as we possibly can.
