The WORST EVER dining experience all round!

On the 5th Feb, the family decided to do dinner in the V&A, it was a toss between CTFM and Willoughby & Co.. We chose CTFM for the kids which ended up the most terrible dining experience ever. As a family we supported and were absolute regulars of CTFM Steenberg for +- 18 years, which never disappointed, but sadly V&A's food and service was shocking. Starting with a simple round of orders, the waiter and chef got 5 things wrong 1. the 2 x rainbow reloaded had no black sauce 2. the salmon rolls came as crab stick 3. they forgot 2 of the 3 hand rolls 4. my wife never received her calamari meal at all 5. the fashion sandwich literally had a piece of salmon the size of a tiny ****** slice. To make matters worse the unfriendly and seemingly untrained waitress continuously disputed the order, with myself, wife and 19yo son, as if we were all wrong. FOOD WAS TERRIBLE. Called the manager to assist who turned out causing more complications trying to correct the situation which went from bad to worse without going into all that detail, THE PLACE AND SERVICE IS TERRIBLE, NEVER TO RETURN, there are far too many good sushi places in CT i.e. Grand Pavillion, Willoubys etc. BTW, the manager still insisted we pay for food not received in it advertised way on the menu, SHOCKING to the end! and all this whilst we remained polite. At times I think at places like this, rudeness get things done better sadly to say and ones expected a very decent service being in the V&A.
