Never again

We don't often eat out, and when we do it is usually a pleasurable experience. This time though it wasn't at all. We waited a very long time to be served. Orders for our drinks were taken. My husband's Coke arrived soon, but the waiter couldn't remember what I had ordered. I repeated my request for a glass of wine, which I only received when I enquired about it again when the food arrived. We ordered a cheesy garlic roll each as starters. My husband asked for sushi for his main meal, and I ordered fish. The cheesy garlic rolls never came. (still hasn't). My husband received his sushi within minutes, and then the endless waiting began for my fish dish and wine. We waited MORE THAN AN HOUR, without seeing the waitress at our table once during that time. Needless to say, my husband had long finished his meal by the time mine arrived. Then when the bill came, there were extras on it which we hadn't ordered, nor had. Worst part of all, it wasn't just us who experienced bad service that evening. At two other tables people were making scenes, complaining about exactly the same as what we had experienced. The restaurant wasn't even full or very busy. What is your excuse?
