Horrific Service

I arrived at 19:00 with my husband and daughter. Mind you, we haven’t eaten at CTFM since the revamp. We were the only people seated close to the play area at the time.

About 10 minutes later, another two couples with children joined the same area. We placed our order at exactly 19:05 and received our drinks. Thirty minutes passed, and still no food. Meanwhile, the other two families received their orders.

The waiter who took our order walked past us several times without saying anything—not even an apology or an explanation as to why our food was taking so long. At this point, it was getting late, and we had already been waiting about 45 minutes for our food.

I eventually got up and asked to speak to the manager. He assured me that the waiter was going to fetch our food. I walked back to my husband, only for him to tell me that the waiter who WROTE DOWN our order was now blaming another waiter for taking our order. Crazy, right? It honestly sounds like something out of a damn movie!

I am absolutely disgusted by the poor service. The waiter then stood to one side, visibly angry at my husband for paying for our drinks—which we didn’t even finish. AND, despite everything, my husband still gave him a tip!

The revamp is beautiful, but I think you need a revamp of your staff too. They need to learn to take accountability when they mess up instead of blaming someone else.

Extremely disappointing service, and I definitely won’t be back with my family.
