Cape Town Fish Market Umhlanga serves spoilt Hake

This was my experience, which I emailed through to Cape Town Fish Market's complaints department.......... Last night we celebrated friend’s birthday at CTFM Gateway, there were 7 of us in total. 4 adults and 3 kids. Three ordered the Hake. My friend first noticed that the Hake was not done properly and it had an awful smell, we called the waiter and he took the meal away, apologized, shortly after my son, who had ordered the Hake and calamari, explained to us that the fish was sour, we called the waiter, he confirmed that the fish was off and he took away the meal. We then checked on the third Hake meal that was ordered and realized that was smelling bad, the waiter took away the meal as well. A manager named Valerie approached us and apologized for the situation and tried to explain about how the fish is packed etc. Shortly afterwards an arrogant manager named Zain approached us explaining to us that they agree that that the Hake from the first meal was off, but apparently they have experts in the kitchen claim that the Hake from the second and third was perfect. I explained to him that common sense will dictate that if something smells off and tastes sour, it would be off. I asked him not to get technical with us because it was very apparent that he was trying to deny responsibility for this incident. In summary we had to pay for the two meals, which was not completely eaten and sent back. I was very disgusted at the attitude of Zain and it seemed like it was our fault that the fish was off. I was then contacted by CTFM and assured that they were disciplining the manager in question and when I come back to CTFM, I must ask to see the owner. so my question is, I ended up paying for two meals that were not completed eaten because the main dish was off. (My son first ate the calamari on his plate first and then went on to eat the hake, where he discovered that the fish was bad) Do you think that I will risk going there again and put my loved one's lives in jeopardy? I think not
