Inconsiderate & insulting Staff

<p>Gooday, I booked at the Cape Town comedy club at the waterfront for Sat evenings show on Friday the 14th Oct with my partner. I told the lady at the club doing the bookings that I did'nt want to sit in front & she assured me she would'nt seat me in front. However when I got to the club & paid, the hostess seated me in front & no amount of objections would make her budge...</p> <p> </p> <p>When the show started almost immediately the comedians started insulting everyone sitting in the front row. It got so bad that a male member at one of the front tables got quite upset at being insulted & had to be restrained by security from assualting the standup comedian.</p> <p> </p> <p>My question then is, do comedians have to insult people to make themselves look good? Do they have to pick on people in the front row always to get a laugh...It's like a bully insulting another kid in front of an audience.</p> <p>Do they not consider peoples feelings & emotions when insulting innocent members of the audience that paid for standup entertainment?</p> <p> </p> <p>If this is the attitude of the Cape Town comedy club then I would discourage anyone from going there just to be insulted.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
