Worst experience ever with a car rental company! Dishonest owner in financial troubles! Don´t book with them!

<p>My girl friend and I used Tihan&acute;s car from Cape Town 4x4 Rentals for our 2 weeks trip in Namibia last October 2017. All started OK despite a few things missing in the car (like a Gas Bottle etc.), that we had to buy on ourselves, with the promise of the owner to refund us for this. The trip went OK, despite a tyre problem which is kind of usual in Namibia... Yet the real issues came when we handed over the car back to the company owner... Tihan did not have money with him to refund our Deposit but promised to transfer the money back to our account the following week. Which he never did as of today! He then started to claim that we made dents on the roof of the car without giving us any clear evidence of it. As we were asking for proof and evidency, he suddenly cut all contacts with us and practically ran away with our money. My only contact for help was then the travel agency that arranged our rental with Tihan, which who I just spent 3 months exchanging per emails in order to get my refund. This travel agency was sporadically able to get in touch with Tihan that promise on his side to refund us and to show evidence of his claims but he never did! Don&acute;t go with this company as it is a complete ****! There are many more other car rental companies out there! We hope this can prevent other people to have the same nightmare experience as we had. All the best, Guillaume</p>
