Exotic tennis court on wine farm becomes a disaster

<p>After 8 months of building (quoted 2-3 months) my dream tennis court on a slope, overlooking the vineyard and mountens, the court is finally handed over and I realise that the surface is not too standard i.e. bumps and valleys and surface finish is substandard. Another 4 months of trying to get the owner of Cape Tennis Court to react, only to tell me that it is not his fault and I should have opted for a drain that was listed as an "Optional item" on the original quote. After another 8 months of legal letters, engineers opinions and 4 holes made in the court by supplier to verify/check his compaction, which was never checked during construction phase, I finally receive a quote from Cape Tennis Court to fix their own problem with even an escalation on original price for drain. IN ORDER TO RECTIFY THE ISSUES, I AM NOW PURSUING THE REPAIR WORK WITH ANOTHER CONTRACTOR AT MY OWN COST. LIFE IS TOO SHORT AND THE PROCESS TO CONTINUE WITH AN UNWILLING SUPPLIER IN CAPE COURT TO DO THE RIGHT THING IS JUST NOT WORTH IT ANYMORE! CAPE TENNIS COURT IS UNWILLING TO RECTIFY THEIR INFERIOR- AND SUBSTANDARD CONSTRUCTION WORKS.</p>
