Moving disaster

Wemovit - Got a quote for moving from JHB to CPT, option to share for cheaper or not. We decided to not share a load. When they arrived to load the move the truck was to small to get all our contents in. We had to pay an extra R3000 for them to send a 2nd truck to get the stuff that did not fit. We were promised that the big furniture will be wrapped to protect them. The move arrived in CPT 11 Nov 2024. Nothing was as promised. It was a shared load and again all our contents did not arrive. A lot of it stayed behind in JHB, they did not have enough space for it. The truck had a trailer with 2 containers on, so the truck had 3 different moves on. They had to unhook the trailer to go and off load another load while off loading our stuff. They had to borrow tools from us and broke the *****driver. As the 1st container opened our stuff was lying all over the place mixed with someone else stuff. Nothing was wrapped as promised and a lot of damaged goods. Fridge scratched, deep freezer 2 dent in, metal filing cabinets one corner the metal is torn from falling in transit, furniture parts that was neatly cable tied together arrived loosened and only some parts made it here. Boxes was damaged badly, no sense of concern for fragile contents. And the list goes on. We have still not received the contents that was not on the truck when it arrived and after reporting all our damage and concerns telephonically and per email. So needless to say, I strongly urge people to stay as far as possible if you here or see this company.
