CAPE ESSENTIALS is not all it appears to be - BEWARE!

DON'T BUY - BEWARE! This online store, purporting to be a local Cape Town company, is not what it appears to be. The products are made in Asia, shipped from China. The shabbiness is beyond description. I bought a linen shirt (like the other reviewer here), as well as a sweater. Total was over R2000. They advertise Courier Guy as their delivery company on their front page, but it actually came over 3 weeks late via a company I've never heard of (Buffalo?). The shirt is NOT linen, with no labels (size, country production, washing instructions, etc), and the seams are all over the place. There is just a minimum of fabric - it's tight and way too short. The sweater isn't woven wool - it's pressed synthetic something. Again, the seams are horrible, no labels, and short in the sleeves and the length of the body. Finally, they advertise on their front page no hassle 30 day return money back guarantee, but then I find buried in the very back of their site where the return information is that I must pay to ship the items back to Asia! And once it gets there, they will examine the items, and if it's in good order, they'll process a refund. Please imagine how confident I'm going to be I'd ever get my money back (without my shipping expense). I'm furious with myself for being taken in by their slick "local" web site.
