Buy 1 time and pay 6 times

I made a purchase at Woolworths Galleria Mall in KZN and made payment with my B-Smart card. After 5 attempts to make payment, which was, according to the cashier, unsuccessful, the supervisor tried to make payment on a different terminal the 6th time and the transaction was successful. Two days later, I noticed on my B-Smart account that all 6 transactions were presented for payment. I immediately took this up with B-Smart and they informed that they have to take it up with Woolworths which will take approximately 2 months to resolve but in the meantime I have to pay the account which is 6 x R1389. This is really unacceptable especially this time of the year. I would like this to be resolved soonest.
