CAVGT40 Cars

<p>&nbsp;</p> <p>After Ordering four cars in August 2015 with an agreed delivery schedule &nbsp;of all four units by latest &nbsp;February 2016 it soon became apparent that all was not as it seemed. To date i have only received one car, this was delivered in June 2016 but of such bad quality the car had to be completely reworked and repainted, a further 3 month delay. &nbsp;The Second car was finally offered for delivery during June 2016 but again the quality was so bad the car had to be completely reworked it was only ready for finally delivery a second time in February 2017. &nbsp;The third car was offered for delivery in November 2016, yet as has become the norm with CAV so to was this car delayed with a proposed new delivery date of February 2017. &nbsp;The Fourth car was never completed.</p> <p>Eventualy we demanded our money back, no longer wanting to be involved &nbsp;with CAV and their problems. We have taken delivery and paid for the first car but CAV is not returning the balance of our money, about one million rands.</p> <p>To summarize the &nbsp;list of problems:</p> <p>8 month late delivery &nbsp;Car No1</p> <p>18 month late completion Car No2</p> <p>18 month late completion car No3</p> <p>no completion of car No4</p> <p>paint quality on car 1&amp;2 was so bad, both cars had to be repainted</p> <p>doors did not fit or close, chassis had to be rworked to make doors fit</p> <p>Wrong exhaust headers supp****, do not fit on engine as per order</p> <p>CAV admitted to using our money to stock up with extra parts, but not related to our orders</p> <p>CAV pretended that car No2 was ready for delivery, requesting final payment but admitted a few weeks later that car was in fact not ready.</p> <p>CAV pretended that car No 3 was ready for delivery but when arriving at the factory, mechanic was still working on car.</p> <p>When it became clear that delivery was dragging out to an unacceptable time, we demanded back deposits and progress payments made for the outstanding 3 cars but CAV opted instead to allege a breach of contract on our side, keeping our money + - 1 000 000.00. &nbsp;Against better judgement, we have subsequently offered to accept one of the remaining GT40 replica cars as payment but this was also refused. CAV had our money for two years, breached the agreement many times, produced cars of extreme bad quality and now attempting to ***** our money. &nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><br />&nbsp;</p>
